What's Going on...

Thursday:

Ok slackers, it's time to get in to see your advisor if you're planning on graduating this semester. Today is the last day that you can file your applications for bachelor's degree candidacy. Phone the Registrar if you're still confused 621-3432, or better yet, see someone in your department.

Today is also the day that all those silly limeys in England go to the polls and vote for their new leader. Live coverage starts at 4:00 p.m. on C-SPAN.

Friday:

She just got downsized from MTV, but Idalis DeLeon will be here for some kind freakish "Rock the Block" party put on by Citibank. According to the press release, KFMA's Spyder Rhodes is spining the latest in alternative tunes while a "special CyberCam projection system displays this latest trend in watching , dancing, listening and partying. Images flash, flicker and morh as the projector colorizes and distorts the images." If nothing else, it should be pretty surreal. It's all happening at the Arizona Ballroom in the Student Union, from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Saturday/Sunday:

This is your last chance this school year to catch one of Matt Bevel's excellent performances. Sculpture, song, and a twisted sense of humor combine in Bevel's "Surrealistic Pop Science Theater" shows, and it seriously is amazing. Tickets are $6.00 and the 8:00 p.m. shows take place at 530 N. Stone Avenue (Stone Ave & Sixth Street) Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Dial 622-0192 if you've got questions.
