For students or faculty with children, the Flandrau Science Center has a new lineup of educational summer shows for youngsters, including "Rusty Rocket's Last Blast," and "Magic Sky." In "Rusty Rocket's Last Blast," Rusty Rocket is a rocket commander who is about to retire, but is called into action one last time to teach students about rocket physics and the solar system. Other shows and show times are: "Magic Sky" For children 4 to 6 years old. Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10 a.m. "Our Place In Space" For children in grades 1-3. Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. "Rusty Rocket's Last Blast" For children in grades 1-4. Monday through Friday at 11 a.m. "Dinosaur Chronicles" Monday through Friday at 1:30 p.m. Flandrau also offers programs and laser shows for people of all ages including: "Comets are Coming" Monday through Friday at 2:30 p.m. "Family Laser Show" Monday through Friday at 3:30 p.m. "Pink Floyd- Dark Side of the Moon" Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays at midnight. "Nirvana vs. Pearl Jam" Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. "The Psychedelic Side Show" Fridays and Saturdays at 8:30 p.m. "The Lollapalaser Show" Fridays and Saturdays at 9:30 p.m. "Metallica II" Fridays and Saturdays at 10:45 p.m. Tickets prices vary.
