The Wildcat has received several phone calls questioning the intent of the photo illustration that appeared on the cover of last week's edition ("Presidential Shuffle").

The three presidential candidates were grouped together as cards in a hand, signifying that they are the cards we have to choose from (i.e.; the hand we were dealt).

President Manuel Pacheco was removed from the hand and placed on the table as the card we must now replace. He appeared on the Joker card because the Joker is traditionally removed from the deck in most card games.

Placing Pacheco on the Joker was not intended to be an editorial comment.
