ASUA's opposition to IIF Building is ridiculous

Editor:

I am writing this letter to voice support for the new Integrated Instructional Facility. I feel it is absolutely ridiculous that ASUA is creating such opposition to a new classroom building that will support all new incoming students. Many students consider education a number-one priority contrary to the boisterous opinions and misplaced priorities presented by our student representatives.

This reminds me of junior high school when a student running for student council president promised that soda would run from the fountains instead of water. I am shocked that our student body president is putting this much needed facility in jeopardy in the name of bad food and homecoming parades. It is time to start recognizing that we are here to learn.
