- The Student Union's Gallagher Theatre is showing "Eraser" at 7:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Admission is $2.50.
- The Center for Computing and Information technology is conducting a free workshop on Creating Web Pages: Beyond the Basics in the Science and Engineering Library Room 311 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
- The University Activities Board is sponcering MUST SEE TV in the Park Student Union from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. There will be free food and prize giveaways.
- The School of Music and Dance presents a guest recital by Janna Lower, violinist and Alan Smith, pianist at 8 p.m. in Crowder Hall. Admission is free.
- The UA is hosting the first Agency Fair in partnership with the United Way in an effort to inform people about the agencies that represent a portion of the United Way on the UA Mall form 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
- The University Activities Board along with Eat-to-the-Beat is sponsoring the bands Dave's Big Deluxe and Mustard Plug in the Cellar of the Memorial Student Union. Doors open at 8 p.m. the show begins at 8:30 p.m. Admission is $5.
- The Chemistry Department presents Jon D. Rainier, of the UA, to speak on "A Journey Through the Synthesis of Complex Natural Products. Penitrem D and Emindole SA," in the Chemistry building Room 218 at 4 p.m.
- Systems and Industrial Engineering presents Emmanuel Fernandez of the UA to speak on "Stochastic Decision and Control: Overview of Recent Results" in the Engineering building room 301 at 2 p.m.
- The Department of Arid Lands Studies presents Bruce F. Goff, watershed hydrologist, to speak on "the Role of Watershed Managment in Protection: Observations on Kenya and Ethiopia" in the office of Arid Land Studies room 115A at 2 p.m.
- The Advertising Club presents guest speaker Dave Slavin, of the American Advertising Federation's Lt. Governor, to speak on the 12th regional AAF convention at McCleland Hall room 123 at 6 p.m.
