If you want to vote in the general election Nov. 5, you must be registered to vote by midnight tonight.The Arizona Students' Association will be registering students to vote in front of the Memorial Student Union until 11:45 p.m.
The Pima County Recorder's Office will also hold registration drives today, including one at the UA Early Voting Site, 1834 E. Mabel St., from 8 a.m. to midnight.
Pima County Recorder F. Ann Rodriguez said the last such drive was in 1994 for the last governor's election.
"We were able to register 2,000 voters at the courthouse location alone," she said.
With the addition of satellite locations, she said that number could increase.
Other locations and hours for voter registration for today are:
- Pima County Recorder's Office, 115 N. Church Ave., 9 a.m. to midnight.
- Nanini Library, 7300 N. Shannon Road, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Kino Community Center Room 104, 2805 E. Ajo Way, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Republican Headquarters, 5447 E. Fifth St., until midnight
- Democratic Headquarters, 2617 E. Broadway Blvd., until 11 p.m.
City Council Offices will be open until 7 p.m. for registration: Ward 1, 940 W. Alameda St.; Ward 2, 7575 E. Speedway Blvd.; Ward 3, 1510 E. Grant Road; Ward 4, 7575 E. Speedway Blvd.; Ward 5, 4300 S. Park Ave.; Ward 6, 2205 E. Speedway Blvd.
