- The Student Union's Gallagher Theatre is showing "Phenomenon" at 7:30 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. Admission is $2.50.
- The Art Department presents William Hartmann to speak on "Art and the Desert: Creativity and Politics Collide" in the Center for Creative Photography at 5:30 p.m.
- Career Services is hosting Business, Liberal Arts and Retail Day, where employers within those fields will be on campus recruiting students in the Memorial Students Union's Rincon Room from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
- The University Activities Board is sponsoring "Eat to the Beat," where local bands will perform in the Memorial Student Union's Cellar from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Osgoods is performing today.
- Education by Example will be on the UA Mall from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. to educate the campus community on recycling white and non-florescent paper along with newsprint.
- The Center for Computing and Information Technology is offering a free workshop on the Library's information systems, both Sabio and journal databases, in the Science and Engineering Library Room 311 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
- The Center for Computing and Information Technology is offering a free workshop, "Orientation to Computing Resources," in CCIT Room 311 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
- The UA bookstore presents Mark Zepezauer and Arthur Naiman, authors of "Take the Rich Off Welfare, " to read excerpts from their book in the Memorial Student Union Room 285 at 8 p.m. The authors contend that taxpayers are supporting $448 billion a year in corporate "wealthfare."
- The American Red Cross is sponsoring a blood drive on the UA Mall from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
- Arizona Women's Lacrosse is practicing at Bear Down Field at 4 p.m. Players are required to bring their ID cards.
- Greeks Advocating Mature Management of Alcohol, a check system set up by the Greeks for the Greek community, is meeting in Economics Room 105 at 5:30 p.m.
