Thoughts on 'Bull Durham' and beliefs

I saw Bull Durham for about the 45th time over the weekend and it inspired me.

So, in order for my readers to learn a little bit about me, here is what I believe:

I believe Arizona's Dick Tomey is a much better coach than people give him credit for.

I believe Nebraska's Tom Osborne would make a better parole officer than a football coach.

I believe the Dodgers, the only team to win the World Series twice in the 1980s, should be considered the team of that decade.

I, too, believe in the hanging curve ball.

I believe Joe Montana was the greatest quarterback of all time.

I believe Hank Aaron was the greatest baseball player of all time.

I believe Bill Clinton is the greatest president since Franklin Roosevelt.

I believe the Arch Deluxe is the worst idea McDonald's has had since the Shamrock Shake.

I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted as part of a much larger conspiracy.

I believe "Twister" is the best movie I have seen this year.

I believe that all three military academies receiving votes in the USA Today/CNN Top 25 football poll during the same year is a positive side-effect of the Clinton Administration.

I believe Dennis Rodman is good for basketball.

I, too, believe in long, slow, deep, wet kisses that last for three days.

I believe that Roberto Alomar is a good guy who made a big mistake.

I believe that the best college football team in the country is in Ohio, not Florida.

I believe "Men Behaving Badly" is the best television show of the new season.

I believe "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central is the best show on television.

I believe "Cheers" is the greatest television show of all time.

I believe Keith Smith is the most exciting football player in the Pacific 10 Conference.

I believe Tom Hanks has never made a bad movie.

I believe Val Kilmer was the best Doc Holiday.

I believe that if I had my way, Cal Ripken and the Baltimore Orioles would win the World Series.

I believe Danny Wuerffel should win the Heisman Trophy.

I believe Arizona will beat Arizona State on Nov. 23.

I believe you're beginning to not give a damn what I believe.

I believe I've taken enough of your time.

Thanks for reading.
