A 12-year-old male student from Mansfeld Junior High School was robbed of $5 and a "bag of assorted candies" Wednesday, police reports stated.

The student told police he was walking west of the Arizona State Museum, 1013 E. University Blvd., at 7:20 p.m. when three unknown males approached him and pushed him to the ground. They used profanity to tell him to stay still and one pinned him to the ground with a foot, according to police reports.

Although the victim told police he never saw his assailants' faces, he said they appeared to be high school age.

He checked his backpack after the incident and discovered the items missing.

A Parking and Transportation Services employee called police after someone broke a concrete parking block and overturned another Wednesday between 7 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., police reports stated.

According to the employee, someone was trying to illegally park in Lot 2120 between North Cherry Avenue, North Warren Avenue, East Helen Street and East Mabel Street when the blocks, which prevent unauthorized access, were damaged.

The employee told officers this was the fourth occurrence since Oct. 3 and that the blocks had been repaired from similar damage earlier that morning.

No one saw Wednesday's crime, but the employee said his supervisor had previously spoken to the driver of a 1996 Ford Explorer about the earlier occurrences.

A female UA employee called police Thursday after her truck was damaged while parked in Lot 4056 at East Speedway Boulevard and North Cherry Avenue.

The employee reportedly left her 1989 GMC Jimmy at 7:25 a.m. and returned at 4:07 p.m. to find a 2-inch black mark and a 4-inch scratch on the passenger-side door, police reports stated.

She said a Geo hatchback had been parked to her right when she arrived that morning and might have damaged her door when the Geo's driver opened his door.

Police were able to contact the Geo's owner, who said he had parked next to the Jimmy. The man, however, denied damaging the vehicle.

Reports indicated no charges will be filed due to insufficient evidence.

An automatic gate arm was broken off and removed from the ground level of the Main Gate Garage, 815 E. Second St., sometime Wednesday before 10:50 p.m., police reports stated.

The value of the damage was unknown.

A male student's wallet was taken from the Student Recreation Center, 1400 E. Sixth St., between 7:30 and 8:15 p.m. Thursday, police reports stated.

The student told police he had been playing basketball and left his wallet by the side of the court. When he returned to get the wallet, it was gone.

Police reports indicate the wallet contained $25, an Arizona Driver's License and a credit card. The value of the wallet was unknown.

Two students' bicycles were stolen from outside residence halls during the past week, according to police reports.

Someone stole the chain-locked frame and rear tire of a Sears bicycle parked east of Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St., between 2 a.m. Wednesday and 1 a.m. Thursday.

The owner told police he had ridden by two males southwest of Coronado Wednesday, one of whom said, "Nice bike."

The value of the bicycle and lock were unknown.

In the other incident, a Mongoose men's mountain bike was lifted from racks south of La Paz Residence Hall, 602 N. Highland Ave., between 2 p.m. Oct. 3 and 9 a.m. Oct. 7.

The bicycle, which was secured with a U-lock, was valued at $300 and the U-lock at $30.
