- Career Services is offering a free workshop on interviewing skills in the Memorial Student Union Room 285 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
The workshop will include how to answer interview questions in one on one and panel settings. It will also cover the do's and dont's when interviewing for a job.
Career Services is also offering a workshop on mock interviewing in Memorial Student Union Room 226 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
The students interviews will be video recorded. Students will review the tapes pointing out the positive areas as well as areas that need improvement.
- The University Activities Board presents "Eat to the Beat" in the Cellar of the Memorial Student Union from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Watsonville Patio performs today.
- The Math Department presents Matt Klassen, of the UA, to speak on "Some Recent Results on the Arithmetic of Genus Two Curves," at 1 p.m. Math building Room 402. The lecture will discuss works by math professsors.
- The Memorial Student Union's Gallagher Theatre is showing "A Time Kill" at 7:30 p.m. 10:15 p.m. Admission is $2.50.
- The Arizona Historical Society is hosting a traditional celebration for "El DÁa de los Muertos," Day of the Dead at 7 p.m. in the exhibit halls.
A traditional altar by artist Virginia Aguero will be featured and Pan de Muerto,bread of the dead, and Mexican coffee will be served.
The Historical Society is located at the corner of Park and Second avenues.
