A student was cited on a charge of minor in possession of alcohol after police observed him urinating Monday at 11:45 p.m. in a parking lot near Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St.

Greg D. Lisbe, 19, a resident of Apache-Santa Cruz Residence Hall, swayed from side to side while being questioned by university police. Lisbe smelled of alcohol and appeared disoriented, police reports stated.

When police asked Lisbe where he lived, he said "Apache-Santa Cruz," and pointed west. The hall is actually east of Coronado.

Police cited Lisbe for minor in possession of alcohol, "aimed him in the right direction," and released him.


A parking permit was stolen Monday from the UA lot at 500 N. Warren Ave.

A male student told police he parked his 1991 Nissan Sentra at 10:20 a.m. with the windows open slightly to keep the car from getting hot.

When the student returned at 3 p.m., the driver's side window was completely open, and the student's parking permit was gone.

The Zone 1 permit was valued at $160.


A bicycle was stolen from outside the Social Sciences building, 1145 E. South Campus Drive.

A male student told police he locked the bicycle with a cable lock at 9 a.m. He returned an hour later to find both the bicycle and the lock gone.

The Nomad Pacific 21-speed mountain bicycle was valued at $275.


A satellite dish receiver was reported stolen Monday from the Gould-Simpson Building, 1040 E. Fourth St.

A UA employee reported the dish missing from a courtyard on the southwest side of the building. The dish was last seen Friday.

Police found no signs of forced entry to the courtyard, but did observe shoe scuff marks on the walls near the courtyard.

Police could not lift fingerprints from inside the courtyard due to porous and rough surfaces.

The value of the dish was unknown.


A motorist had her license plate confiscated Saturday at 11:15 p.m. by UAPD after a computer check determined the registration was suspended.

Shannon M. Lancaster, 20, of the 5000 block North Maria Drive, stalled her car on the south side of East Speedway Boulevard, at North Mountain Avenue.

Police stopping to help Lancaster ran a computer check on her license plate. The check indicated the registration was suspended due to a mandatory-insurance violation.

Lancaster got her car started and was cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. Police removed the license plate and released Lancaster at the scene.


Part of a car stereo was found Monday in the Franklin Building, 1011 E. Fifth St.

A Profile radio face plate and a Case Logic case were turned into university police.

Both were placed into found property.


A Jansport backpack was taken Friday from the UA Associated Students Bookstore, 1209 E. University Blvd.

A male student told university police he put the bag down at 1:52 p.m. in front of the lockers at the front of the store and returned at 2 p.m. to discover the backpack and its contents gone.

The student told police there were no lockers available at the time.

The black bag was valued at $19. The bag contained a calculus book, an Italian book, several notebooks and folders. The values of the books and folders were unknown.


A truck was vandalized Friday between 1:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. outside the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, 1801 E. First Street.

Green paint had been dumped in the bed of a male student's Dodge Ram.

The value of the damage was unknown.


A backpack was taken Friday between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. from the Cherry Avenue Garage, 1641 E. Enke Drive.

A male student left his backpack outside the car when he got in and drove away. When he returned, the bag was gone.

The Jansport backpack was valued at $50. It contained a California driver license, several binders, textbooks and $13 cash. The values of the binders and textbooks were unknown.
