The second Juntos' "Que Pasa Night" will be held tonight from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the Arizona Ballroom of the Memorial Student Union.

Juntos, established in 1992, is an organization of representatives from the six Hispanic groups on campus: Gamma Alpha Omega and Kappa Delta Chi sororities, Omega Delta Phi fraternity, the Friends of Sigma Lambda Beta fraternity, Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.

Juntos was formed to bring unity to the different Hispanic groups, which were all formed to accomplish the same goals, but sometimes disagreed among themselves, Undergraduate Sen. J.J. Rico said.

Rico, also a member of MEChA, said the purpose of the night is to inform new Hispanic students about the campus groups. He said he feels the groups are important because Hispanics comprise the largest minority at the UA. One of the major goals of each group, he said, is to have more Hispanic students graduating.

Refreshments will be served, and speakers from each of the organizations will speak to students about their organization and its purpose. Tables also will be set up where students can talk to members of the different groups.

Anyone interested is encouraged to come, Rico said.
