The Library offers a free workshop, "Creating Web pages: Beyond the Basics," in the Science and Engineering Library Room 311 from 10 a.m. until noon.
- The workshop will cover how to use colors, maps and tables. The workshop is designed for users who have attended the "Create Your Own Homepage" workshop.
The library also offers how to use QuickSearch in the Science and Engineering Library Room 311 from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
QuickSearch is a do-it-yourself computer retrieval system accessing millions of references in more than 400 subject databases. The purpose of the service is to allow UA students and faculty the opportunity to do their own computer literature search for free.
- The Poetry Center presents readings by master of fine arts candidates in creative writing in the Modern Languages Auditorium at 8 p.m.
Readers include Hannah Haas, James Marshall, Brandon Nelson and Jerry Williams.
- The University Physicians presents Menopause Update on the eighth floor of the University Medical Center from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

- The Memorial Student Union's Gallagher Theatre is showing "Escape from L.A." at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Admission is $2.50.
Fact of the Day Massachusetts Institute of Technology was ranked the number one business school in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. The University of Arizona's business school was ranked 50th. Under the division of specialties within business schools the UA ranked fourth in Management Information Systems.
