  • The Library offers a free workshop on how to use the Encyclopaedia Britannica Online in the Science and Engineering Library, Room 311, from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m.

  • Career Services offers a free workshop on how to plan your job search from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Students are required to check in at the Career Services reception desk in the lower level of Old Main.

  • The workshop discusses which strategies are most effective and where resources are available.

  • The Association of College Unions is hosting a chess, 8-ball and table tennis singles tournament at 5:30 p.m. in Sam's Place. Registration for all three events is at Sam's Place located in the basement of the Memorial Student Union. Registration is $5 up to 5 p.m. and $8 after 5:01 p.m. The table tennis tournament is being held tomorrow at noon. Student identification is required for registration.

  • The UA women's tennis team plays at Robson Tennis Center today, tomorrow and Sunday at 11 a.m.

  • The Memorial Student Union's Gallagher Theatre is showing "Sleepers" today and tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. Admission is $2.50.

    Fact of the Day

    The highest attended Super Bowl was in 1980 when Pittsburgh beat Los Angeles by 12 points in Pasadena, Calif. with103,985 people in the stands. The lowest attended game was the first Super Bowl played in 1967 at the Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles - 61,946 in attendance.
