A female UA employee reported her computer was tampered with Tuesday in the Franklin Building, 1011 E. Fifth St.

The employee told university police that for the past three to four months, an unidentified person had been entering her office and using her computer.

According to police reports, the employee has found her computer's monitor and central processing unit on when she comes to work.

The employee told police that Tuesday at 9 a.m. she found the power strip to her computer had been turned off. She also told police that nothing had been taken from the room.

The employee told police she always locks her office door. No damage was found on the door, reports stated.


A male UA employee backed into a car Tuesday in Lot 5075 behind the Douglass and Social Sciences buildings, university police reports stated.

According to the reports, the employee backed a UA-owned 1978 Chevrolet truck into a parked red 1991 Mazda.

The damage to the truck was about 1 inch of red paint transferred from the car, police reports stated. Reports also stated that the car received damage to its right front corner and black paint transferred from the truck.

No citations were issued.


A male student reported his bike and lock stolen Wednesday from the north side of the Main Library, 1510 E. University Blvd.

The student told university police he locked his Huffy Glacier Point bicycle at 7 p.m. to a bike post with a steel cord bike lock. When the student returned at 7:30 p.m., the bike and lock were missing.

The values of the bicycle and lock were unknown.


A male student reported his bike and lock missing Wednesday from the west side of Old Chemistry, 1306 E. University Blvd.

The student told university police he locked his Huffy Daytona mountain bike to a parking block with a cable lock at 4 p.m. When he returned at 7 p.m., the bike and lock were gone.

The values of the bike and lock were unknown.


A male student reported his bike and lock missing Tuesday from outside the Social Sciences building, 1145 E. South Campus Drive.

The student told university police he locked his GT Zaskarle bicycle with a cable lock at 9:30 a.m. to a bike rack. When the student returned at 12:15 p.m., the bike and lock were gone.

The bike was valued at $1,000. The cable lock was valued at $18.


A male student reported his bike and lock missing Tuesday from a bike parking post near the east side of Harvill Building, 1103 E. Second St.

The student told university police he locked his GT "Zaskar" mountain bike at 9:55 a.m. with a Specialized Titanium cable lock. When he returned at 10:25 a.m., the bike and lock were gone.

The bike was valued at $1,639. The cable lock was valued at $37.


A male student reported his bike and lock missing Monday from bike racks near the Fine Arts Complex, 1031 N. Olive Road.

The student told university police he locked his Coyote STX mountain bike at 9:30 a.m. with a cable lock. When he returned at 11:30 a.m., the bike and lock were gone.

The values of the bike and lock were unknown.


University police cited a driver for driving on a suspended license after stopping him for failing to stop at a stop sign Wednesday at East First Street and North Cherry Avenue, police repots stated.

After a records check, the driver, Damon L. Clark, 21, of the 3000 block of North Los Altos Avenue, was found to have a suspended driver's license.

Clark was cited on charges of failure to stop for a stop sign, no proof of insurance and driving on suspended license. He was released at the scene.
