A man was arrested on a charge of indecent exposure Thursday after he exposed himself to a male UA employee at a house in the 200 block of North Highland Avenue, police said.

The employee told university police he was walking southbound on Highland when he saw a man fully exposed with his pants down and shirt up in the house's carport.

According to police reports, the employee said he saw two women walking northbound on Highland and told them that maybe "they'd better turn around." After that, the employee called police on his cellular phone.

When police arrived at the carport, the man, Alfred A. Acuna, 44, of the 4000 block of West Potvin Lane, was "non-dressed" and leaving, reports stated.

Acuna ran east on East Ninth Street and then south on North Vine Avenue before police located him again.

When police told Acuna to stop, he said, "Oh no, I'm in trouble." After stating that phrase several times, he also said, "I'm a sex offender" and "I'm going to lose my job and my daughter," police reports stated.

The employee positively identified Acuna and said he would press charges.

According to police reports, Acuna told police he did not take his Prozac and that contributed to his behavior. He also requested a psychiatrist at the scene, reports stated.

Acuna was arrested and transported to Pima County Jail. He was released by Pretrial Services.

A man bleeding after chewing a glass fragment on the UA Mall could not be found by university police Thursday.

According to police reports, two men told police they saw a man walking around the Sports Illustrated Campus Fest display on the Mall at about 10 a.m. The men said the man acted unusual because he kicked metal tent stakes in the ground and made inappropriate comments to students and event employees.

The men told police that, around 1:20 p.m., the man picked up two empty glass Snapple bottles and began tapping the bottles together. The men told police that while the man tapped the bottles, the bottles broke into glass shards.

The man then rubbed the broken glass pieces back and forth across a table top in a "rough manner," police reports stated.

When a woman told the man to be careful, the man put a glass fragment into his mouth and began chewing, reports stated. Police reports also stated that the man's mouth began to bleed while he chewed.

The men told police that when bystanders asked the man if he was OK, the man became verbally aggressive and threatened the promotional staff, saying, "Come on, I'll kick your ass, you pussies."

According to police reports, the man did not assault anyone. The man then left the Mall area westbound, police reports stated.
