Unfamiliar territory for the defending Pacific 10 Conference and NCAA Champion. Beana - who placed first in the two tournaments she entered in the fall - was also the highest amatuer finisher in last year's Women's U.S. Open. The team dropped from fourth place to sixth overall with yesterday's team total 305. The Wildcats wound up with a three-day total of 917, placing them 12 strokes behind first place Stanford. UCLA finished in second at 907, followed by Arizona State and Tulsa who tied for third at 914. San Jose State claimed fifth with a 916. Junior Heather Graff fired a final round 73, to a tie for seventh place at 226 in the individual standings. While Krissie Register tied for 14th with 229 on the par-71, 5,912 yard Palos Verdes Country Club. Jenna Daniels improved her standing from yesterday, finishing the event in a three-way tie for 16th. Jill Gomric rounded out the Arizona scores tied for 48th with a 243.
