A female student reported receiving harassing phone calls Sunday to her room in Coconino Residence Hall, 1003 N. Olive Drive.

The student told university police an unidentified man told her, "I want to eat your pussy," police reports stated. The student also told police the man said he could "drop by Coconino," which indicated that the man knew where the student lived, reports stated.

According to police reports, the student also received phone calls on Friday and Saturday nights from a man with the same voice.

The student told police she was concerned about Sunday's call because it indicated the man knew where she lived, reports stated.

Police told the student how to trace further calls.


Two men were arrested on drug charges Saturday at the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity house, 1050 N. Cherry Ave.

According to university police reports, a Tucson Police Department officer smelled the odor of marijuana coming from a second-floor window on the northwest side of the house and contacted university police.

University police officers entered the house through an open west door, went to the second floor and walked into the room from which the smell was coming to prevent the destruction of evidence, reports stated.

A resident of the house walked out of the room, and police smelled a "strong odor of burning marijuana," police reports stated.

When police entered the room, they found Benjamin Filinson, 18, of Danville, Calif., holding a burning cigarette with the "smell of marijuana," police reports stated. Reports also stated police took the cigarette from Filinson.

Filinson told police he had more marijuana and pulled out a baggie of a "green leafy substance," reports stated. Police also found two packs of rolling papers in Filinson's right front pocket. Filinson was then arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police also located a "bong" in plain view sitting on a shelf on the southwest side of the room. Tucson police then arrested one of the room's residents, Benjamin Chazen, age unknown, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Both men were booked into Pima County Jail.


A female student reported her UA handicap parking permit missing from her vehicle Friday in the Second Street Garage, 1340 E. Second St.

The student told university police she parked her vehicle on the garage's street level at 10 a.m. When she returned at 1:50 p.m., the permit was gone.

The value of the permit was unknown.


A female student reported the license plate missing Saturday from her vehicle parked in Lot 5065 near the intersection of East Fourth Street and North Euclid Avenue.

The student told university police she parked her 1993 Eagle Summit in the lot at 1 p.m. When she returned at 4 p.m., her Arizona license plate was gone, and the plate's frame was on the ground behind the car.

The value of the license plate was unknown.


A male student reported his wallet and the items in it missing Saturday from the Student Recreation Center, 1400 E. Sixth St.

The student told university police he left his wallet in a squash court at 8 p.m. When he returned at 10 p.m., the wallet was gone.

The value of the leather wallet was unknown. A Bank of America bank card, miscellaneous pictures and Arizona driver's license were of unknown values. The wallet also contained $95 cash.


A man reported items missing from his 1988 Honda Accord Friday while it was parked near the intersection of East Fourth Street and North Tyndall Avenue.

The man told university police he left his car and went inside Kaibab-Huachuca Residence Hall, 922 E. Fourth St. When he returned about "one minute" later, the passenger-side window was broken and a pair of Rossignal skis and a black backpack were taken.

The values of the skis and backpack were unknown.


A male student reported his bicycle and cable lock missing Thursday from outside Yavapai Residence Hall, 1222 E. South Campus Drive.

The student told university police he locked his Huffy Stalker mountain bike to a bike rack on the north side of the hall Dec. 1 at about 12:30 p.m. When he returned Thursday at noon, the bike and lock were gone.

The bike was valued at $200 and the cable lock at $20.


A male student reported his bicycle and cable lock missing Friday from outside the Gould-Simpson Building, 1040 E. Fourth St.

The student told university police he locked his Trek 930 mountain bike at 7 a.m. to a bike rack on the east side of the building with a Specialized cable lock. When he returned at 1 p.m., the bike and lock were gone.

The bike was valued at $550, and the cable lock at $40.
