By Atilla Vekony Kanter did not turn out 'OK'To the Editor: This is a response to Jamie Kanter's column ("Divorce: The best thing to happen to marriage since sex," Feb. 20) on divorce in which he claimed that divorce was the second best thing in marriage after sex. He also attempted to refute such widely held views that children are greatly affected in a divorce. His reasoning was that he himself, whose parents got divorced twenty years ago, turned out "OK," because he doesn't rob banks or take drugs. I couldn't help but burst out laughing as he proved himself wrong. His twisted views on marriage are the very negative consequences of his parents' divorce. Were he a child of undivorced parents, he would have very different ideas about marriage, I'm sure. No, Jamie, your views on marriage did not "turn out OK!" Atilla Vekony
