The man told police Greek letters representing Delta Delta Delta and Sigma Kappa sororities also were slapped on the walls and windows of the fraternity house, but did not believe those organizations were involved, reports stated. Highland Ave. The student told university police she last saw her $800 watch and two silver rings, valued at $80, on her dresser before she left at 11 p.m. Saturday. The student told police it is possible her roommate left the dorm room unlocked, but added that she doesn't know anybody who could have taken the jewelry. Two students reported getting prank calls Monday night and Tuesday morning in their rooms at Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St. A student called university police after she received about 10 calls between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Monday from a man who wanted her to leave her room and go down to the front desk, saying it was important, police reports stated. The student told police the caller did not threaten her or use obscene language, and that she could hear other men laughing in the background, reports stated. The student told police she had a friend tell the man to stop calling, and that she would press charges if the caller could be identified. Another student told police at 1:53 a.m. that she had gotten four prank calls from a man calling himself "John" and "Bill" in about a one-hour period. The man told the student there was water leaking from her dorm and that she would need to move to the Bear Down Gym, reports stated. The prankster also mentioned the Coronado flood of Jan. 27, when a torrent of water gushed from a broken toilet and forced a two-hour evacuation of the building. The student told police she was willing to press charges for harassment. A student called university police Sunday after she feared an ongoing feud with her roommate might escalate into bloodshed at Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St. The student told police she started having problems with her roommate Thursday, police reports stated. The student told police her roommate had been opening the window near her bed on cold nights, turning the lights off while she was in the shower, blaring music and constantly arguing with her over the television, reports stated. She said that she tried to make her roommate happy, but their conversations would usually end up in shouting matches, where her roommate would threaten to "kick her ass," and "smack her around," reports stated. The student called police Sunday after her roommate said, "I'm really going to smack you this time," reports stated. The student told police she reported the problems to the resident assistant but believes the RA is chummy with her hostile roommate and failed to address the issue. The student told police she also believes the hall director is ignoring the problem, and that her roommate is turning other hall residents against her, reports stated. An RA told police the hall director would move the roommate to another room. Police Beat is compiled from official University of Arizona Police Department reports.
