Arizona Daily Wildcat March 6, 1998 Remembering StanfordThe UA women's basketball team might not have been able to down Stanford last weekend but the team won't soon forget its history-making win against the Cardinal at McKale Center in January. As a tribute to the 91-90 victory, the Arizona Athletics' marketing department developed a T-shirt commemorating the Wildcats' win. Each member of the team received a shirt. The general public can find the shirts in the McKale Sports Stop. They will also be sold at the souvenir stand at tomorrow's game against UCLA. The 4 p.m. game is being called "Can The Bruins Night." All fans who donate a can of food at the door get into the game for free. Donations will go to Tucson' Community Food Bank. The team is also hoping to break its attendance record of 4,123, which was set during last season's Stanford game.
