By Kristina Rivera Thanks for taking back the nightTo the Editor: I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who made the very first-ever UA-sponsored "Take Back the Night" one of the greatest events ever. It is times like these when one realizes that "thank you" seems like such a little, meaningless phrase because it by no means sums up the gratitude that I fee. First off, I want to thank the Campus Acquaintance Rape Educators executive board that gave up so much of their time to be at every meeting, making signs and running around all over the place. You are my rays of sunshine. Next, to all of the CARE members who came to the meetings and were at the march. You all are awesome. Cheers to University of Arizona Police Department, who helped make the event possible. You guys are the greatest. Also to KAMP Student Radio, for playing great tunes and being so nice to me even though I was a nervous wreck. To our two fabulous speakers, you touch my heart. And I cannot forget the great self-defense demonstration. Thank you to everyone who had informational booths, they really helped top off the event. I want to thank all the men who came out to support the women they love and care about. And if it weren't for the CARE advisor, I would lose my head. I would also like to thank all of those affiliated with ASUA who came out to support this event, it really means a lot. And last, but not least, to the incredible women of the Womens' Resource Center. You ladies light up my life. Next year it will be bigger and better. None of you will ever know how incredibly grateful I am. You all make the world a better place. Kudos to all of those who attended and marched that path. Kristina Rivera
