By Dan Howarth Columnist should start playingTo the Editor: Ezekiel Buchheit's column ("How to be a player," Mar. 9) brought nearly as many smiles to my face as it did frowns. The column is an agressive, daring attack at the social atmosphere of this campus - a ballsy move on the part of Mr. Buchheit which probably offended quite a few people... but still, it's a damn fine article. I've just one thing to point out: It is quite possible that attitudes such as those illustrated in "How to be a player" keep single people single and reinforce their solidarity. Jealousy, no-confidence - not attractive. Can't remember how long it's been? Spring Break is coming up... get your ass off the couch, start playing, and quit moaning about those who already are.
