Basketball team filled with heroes, win or lose

To the Editor

The road to the final four came unexpectedly sudden end. It was a banner year in sports with 2 teams representing our school. Sometimes life can be fickle and deal a blow like this one. However, I know that history will be kinder. These basketball teams, both men's and women's, gave us a thrill and put us on the map as being a force to be reckoned with. They redefined basketball and made a name for ourselves. It was one heck of a ride. I wouldn't change it for a moment. As a UA student, I got to experience the pinnacle moments in UA athletics and applaud the teams that got us there.

To all the members of the women's and men's basketball teams I want to say thanks for all your hard work and letting us share in the moments of your dreams. You will always be heroes. When you eventually lift up your heads you will find that this entire campus still stands behind you. You will always be heroes. When you eventually lift up your heads you will find that this entire campus still stands behind you. You will always be champions for your pursuit of greatness and your overwhelming achievements.
