This week -
Last weekend marked the annual UA Spring Fling, the 24th year of the largest student-run carnival in the country.
The event, sponsored and run by the Associated Students of the University of Arizona, ran
from Thursday, April 2, through Sunday, April 5.
This year's performers included the R&B group 112, local reggae group One Blood, and Mariachi Aztlan.
Despite El Niño's quirky nature - and reports of rain in Southern California - this year's Spring Fling didn't include any thunderstorms.
Attendance was high, and by 7:30 p.m. Friday, Spring Fling had already drawn 3,116 visitors.
We've also got our last photospread, which we had to drop temporarily to deal with the Final Four insanity.
Its a cool music spread, with shots of swing gods Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and local dive-bar extraordinaires Shindig.
