By Glenda Buya-ao Claborne Explore sexuality in libraryEditor: Regarding Jennifer Mckean's commentary on premature ejaculation, I suggest that in addition to subscribing to Dr. Ruth's wisdom, PE sufferers might want to grasp the passion of Heathcliff in "Wuthering Heights," to grapple with Tolstoy's love-hate attitude towards sex or, from something more recent, to dance with the sexual longings of the characters in the "The English Patient." Or, for an academic but engaging tome on sexual personalities from Nefertiti to Emily Dickinson, try Camille Paglia's "Sexual Personae." There is more to understanding our sexuality than worrying about the immediate length and power of our genitals. Those who cultivate the passions of the mind will better be able to enjoy the passions of the body. By the way, the main library has some books on the Kamasutra and Tantrism if you want some insights on sexual ecstasy that predates Dr. Ruth by thousands of years.
