Fifth St. He told university police that he put his Raymond Reil chrome steel link wristwatch on the window sill sometime after midnight and found it missing about 6:30 p.m., the next day. According to reports, the student may have left the room unlocked when he went to the bathroom, which is connected to the room next door. One employee told police the man looked ill so he asked him if he was all right. The man replied, "I'm just sitting here resting." reports stated. The man then went into the truck compound, but one of the employees became suspicious and went back outside to find the man riding away. The employee ran after the man but lost sight of him near North Vine Avenue and Broadway Boulevard. The man was in his mid 30s and had a thick mustache. Students reported five more bicycle thefts between Monday and yesterday. All of the thefts occurred during daytime hours and each bike had been secured with a cable lock.
