Today on Campus

  • Pamela Keane of the Mathematics Department will speak on "The Integrated Mathematics Program." To get the numbers and details for the program, show up at 4:15 p.m. today in the Mathematics building, Room 501.

  • "Io's Atmosphere and Torus" will be explored by Melissa McGrath of the Space Telescope Institute at Baltimore, Md. Travel the atmosphere from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. today in the Lecture Hall, Room 308, of the Space Sciences building.

  • It's not just the weather that is changing. Discuss "Our Changing Seas" with Ed Glenn. Get the inside scoop on the changes at 5:30 this evening at the gallery of the Center for Creative Photography.

  • Study "The Effects of Contralateral Acoustic Stimulation on Spontaneous Otoacoustic Emissions." If this topic is of interest to you, join Mike Irby in the Speech and Hearing Sciences Building 71, Room 205. Lisa Edmonds also will discuss the "Comparison of Two DPOAE Instruments." These talks will take place from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m.

  • Paula M. Briggs will discuss "Synthesis, Reactivity and Structural Studies of Early Transition Metal Alkyl and Alkylidene Complexes in pi-Loaded Environments." The lesson starts at 4 p.m. today in the Chemistry and Biology Sciences building, Room 216.
