Today on Campus
- "4 PLAY," an exhibition of collaborative paintings by Chris Carls, Jeffrey Levitch, Gregory Porcaro and Franzie Weldgen, will be on display today in the Union Gallery, on the first floor of the Memorial Student Union. These four UA graduate student artists teamed up to create satirical madcap works alive with humor and raw energy. Much of their work centers around childhood, encompassing issues of parenthood, family, puberty and the "bad boy" syndrome. You can explore their art between 1 and 4 this afternoon.
- "Should Psychology be a Science?" This afternoon hear what John Abra of the University of Calgary has to say about this subject in Anthropology, Room 216. The talk will last from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
- Tonight at 8 is the Spring Dance Concert. The School of Music and Dance brings the dance concert to you in the Ina E. Gittings Building Dance Theater. Student tickets are $6.
- Today Bernard Edward Ast, Jr. discusses "The Plague in Albert Camus' Fiction." Participate in this French doctoral discussion in Modern Languages, Room 578, at 3:30 p.m.
- Have a talk with Eric Weiss in Arid Lands Studies to discuss how satellite imaging and mathematics are used to track vegetation loss. If this sounds of interest to you, be sure to hang out in Room 204 of the Franklin Building between noon and 1 p.m. today.
