Today on Campus

  • The dreaded time awaits you. You want to welcome in the summer days with a party, but something is holding you back: your final exams. Master your exams with a "Discussion of Final Exam Texts" with Kendra Gaines. This discussion is from 5 to 6 this evening in Room 310 of the Modern Languages building.

  • "A New Golden Age of Astronomy" embarks upon us tonight. From 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Peter Strittmatter leads this lesson in the Steward Observatory, Room N210.

  • Do you always have to have the last word in an argument? Do you fight head on to be the best in everything you do? Avert your competitive drive to this morning's lesson on "Competitive Dynamics in Size-Structured Populations with Reproductive Delays." Martin Gildardo Garcia-Alvarado discusses this idea at 9 a.m. in the Mathematics building, Room 206.

  • It's time to start "Resisting Globalized Production: Counter Discourses on Work and State Control Among Banana Producers In St. Lucia." Karla Slocum, postdoctoral fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, will assist you in this subject matter at noon today in Room 100 of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Building. This free lecture is open to the public and lunch will be served.
