University police are asking for help in finding a man and woman suspected of thefts from several campus buildings.

University police detective Sgt. Rolf Averill said the man (pictured at right) and woman, suspected to be acting separately, roam the hallways of open UA buildings and have been robbing employees and faculty members who leave an office door or desk unlocked.

"People will leave their offices unlocked or they leave them open and people will go in and look through peoples purses and unlocked desk drawers," Averill said.

The man has been described by several witnesses as about 6-foot-2 with short, dark brown hair.

Averill said police are asking that anybody who witnesses similar incidents to call 621-UAPD.
