Come see the inspiration for The Cup's Cowboy Coffee tonight at Club Congress. Al Perry will be sharing the stage with The Negro Problem and The Denizens for an easy-to-come-by $4. Doors open at 9 p.m.

If rock n' roll ain't your thang, perhaps you should get back on campus for the blues. Fitting, no? John Jackson, renowned blues artist, will be coaxing sweet, sultry music from his famous guitar at 7:30 p.m. at the UA's Crowder Hall. This performance i s brought to you courtesy of Summerfest '98, and tickets may be purchased for $5 through the UA Office of Summer Session.

What do Cuba and Tucson have in common? You guessed it - Havana! Club Congress is set to samba, mambo, cha-cha and whatnot at 9 p.m. DJs Tasha, Howie, and Rosemary will be skillfully spinning records of the Latin kind till the bouncers kick you out at 1 a.m. No cover.

Scream 'cause you're scared: Gallagher Theatre is running the sequel to spoof all sequels - "Scream 2" - all this week. For only $2.50, you can count how many times the movie makes fun of itself in an hour and a half. Take your seats at 7:30 p.m. or 9: 45 p.m.

Scream 'cause you like it: Multimedia Mondays, the weekly Club Congress movies and music gig, is back with quite the lineup. The Jesus Lizard and Firewater will wow you with their musical prowess, while crafty independent films (to be announced, of cour se) will keep you visually stimulated.
