Today On Campus
- Check out the G-string and all the other strings as the School
of Music and Dance presents a string recital at 11 a.m. today. Get wild
for classical music at Holsclaw Recital Hall in the Fine Arts Complex.
- Tucson's Hughes Missile Systems receives a national award today
in response to its efforts of hiring and promotingwomen in the workplace.
Women Work!, a Washington, D.C.-based organization, selected Hughes for
the award, which will be presented at 3 p.m. in the Swede Johnson building.
- Mixed media artist Jeff Falk presents "Children's Crusade"
today at 5 p.m. in the Student Union Gallery.
- "Changeling" is Falk's current work on display through Oct.
13.
- Billie Lee Turner of Clark University presents "Sustainability,
Global Change, and Socializing the Pixel" today at 3:30 p.m. in
the Harvill building, room 404.
