Robert Henry Becker Arizona Daily Wildcat A head-on collision caused by a white Honda and a gray Oldsmobile occurred at Campbell Avenue and University Boulevard when the car's breaks failed, Tucson Police said. The Honda was traveling southbound on Campbell when the Oldsmobile, going eastbound, was hit around 4:30 yesterday afternoon. The Oldsmobile then was knocked into a Suburban. Police said the situation could have been worse but it was fortunate that the many pedestrians and bicyclists crossing at the stoplight were not involved in the car accident. The car drivers were taken to University Medical Center for injury treatment.
