- Frank Walker presents today's Emergency Medicine Grand Rounds entitled,
"Reevaluating the Coma Cocktail." See this and sip other
mixed drinks at 9 a.m. in the Arizona Health Sciences Center, Room 5403.
- Renu Malhotra, of the Houston, Texas Lunar and Planetary Institute,
presents "The Kuiper Belt: A Window on the Early Solar System"
today at 3:30 p.m. in the Kuiper Spaces Sciences building, Room 308.
- Check out the Fine Arts college bigwigs tonight at the Gaslight Theatre,
7010 E. Broadway Blvd. The cast includes Fine Arts Dean Maurice Sevigny
narrating "Carnival of the Animals" with music performed
by the Lorenzo Trio; Music and Dance school director Gary Gook performing
magic by the sleight of hand as well as on percussion; and some others.

- Robert Rehder, professor of American and Modern English Literature
at University Fribourg, Switzerland, presents "Wallace Stevens:
The Poem at the End of the Mind," from 4 to 6 p.m. The reading
takes place at the Poetry Center, 1216 N. Cherry Ave.
