University police arrested a Tucson man Saturday after he was reported harassing employees and hanging on the water pipes above the pool tables in Sam's Place in the Memorial Student Union, 1303 E. University Blvd.

Lev Olsen, 36, general delivery address, was arrested on a threats and intimidation charge and on warrants for failure to pay fine and failure to appear on false reporting charges, police reports stated. He was booked into Pima County Jail where he was being held in lieu of a $624 bond.

When police arrived about 7:45 p.m. they heard people screaming outside the Student Union and saw Olsen running east past the Administration Building, 1401 E. University Blvd. Officers were able to apprehend him after a short foot race, police reports stated.

A student employee told police that Olsen was in Sam's Place hanging from the water pipes, swinging pool sticks around and making threatening remarks, police reports stated.

Witnesses told police the man was acting "crazy."

According to police reports, when one of the employees asked Olsen to leave, he said he was going to "kick his ass" if he did not leave him alone.

University police arrested a 46-year-old Tucson man Thursday after two students reported seeing him masturbating in the UA Main Library, 1510 E. University Blvd.

William Alan Skiles, of the 1300 Block of East Tenth Street, was charged with two counts of indecent exposure and later released from UAPD headquarters, according to police reports.

One female student told university police she was studying on the library's third floor shortly before midnight when she looked up and saw Skiles "rubbing his penis," police reports stated.

A second student told police she had seen Skiles in the library over the summer and had tried to ignore him but that he was "making noises and full-on masturbating" with his penis exposed, according to police reports.

Skiles told police he was "just reading," police reports stated.

Two female students reported Wednesday that they saw a man sitting with his pants down on the third floor of the Memorial Student Union, 1303 E. University Blvd.

The students told university police they were in the Rotunda Gallery at 1:30 p.m. sitting across from each other when one of the students then noticed a man sitting across the room with his pants down and his penis showing, police reports stated.

The student attempted to block out the man by moving behind her friend, but he also kept adjusting to keep her in view, reports stated.

The second student turned around and said, "Oh that's gross," before both of them left. The students were unable to tell police what his face looked like and could only give a description of his clothing, according to police reports.

Police encountered a man on the Student Union's second floor whose clothing resembled what the students had described.

The man reportedly said, "I'm 65, 70, I mean 60," before telling police he was 37.

The man denied being on the third floor of the Student Union.

Police warned him that he could be cited for trespassing by being in campus buildings and the man left the area.

Five men reportedly swiped a foosball table Sept. 22 from Graham-Greenlee Residence Hall.

Witnesses told university police a Ford pickup pulled up to the hall at 1418 E. Fourth St. about 1 a.m. The driver and two men in the truck bed remained in the vehicle while two other men went into the hall, police reports stated.

According to reports, there was no sign of forced entry.

The two men returned carrying the game table and loaded it in the truck, which drove east on Fourth Street.

The foosball game table was valued at $500.

A student reported Thursday that her back pack was stolen within a five minute period from the UA Associated Students Bookstore, 1209 E. University Blvd.

The student told university police she put her bag on an open shelf about 1:55 p.m. and returned five minutes later to find it missing.

The pack contained $70 worth of textbooks, a $40 sweatshirt and a $100 cellular phone.
