BY THE NUMBERS 5,340: Total offensive yards, UA sophomore quarterback, Keith Smith needs to surpass former quarterback Tom Tunnicliffe to become Arizona's all-time leader. Smith amassed 1,996 yards of total offense last season, compared to Tunnicliffe's 1,110 yards in his freshman campaign. Smith needs to average 1,750 yards over the next three seasons, not counting the three bowl games, to pass the milestone. However, he needs 2,465 yards to break Tunnicliffe's single season record. Another note: Tunnicliffe rushed for a whooping -282 (yes, that is negative) yards in his UA career. Another piece of Tunnicliffe trivia. He caught a touchdown pass against Stanford in 1982 to break a 27-27 tie - which may not have been added to his total yardage.
