"Understanding
Cults and Psychological Persuasion." Janja Lalich, Education Director
and Consultant for
Community Resources on Influence and Control in Alameda,
California, will present this lecture at 7 p.m. in the Catholic Newman
Center located at 1615 E. Second St. Lalich is a widely recognized expert
in the field of cults and their psychological influence.
- Don't let an emergency catch you off guard. Attend the Emergency
Medicine Grand Rounds at 9 a.m. in Room 5403 of the
Arizona Health
Sciences Center.
- Judy Rein will present "Reading the Literature I," sponsored
by the UA
College of Medicine.
- Travel to the land down under by attending "Comprehensive Forest
Assessment in Queensland,
Australia: Scientific and Political Implications."
Damien Moloney will present this seminar at 3 p.m. in the Biology Science
East building, Room 124.
- UA graduate student Jeff Anthis will present "Reactivity of
Transition-Metal Pyrrole
Complexes and Their Relation to Hydrodenitrogenation
Catalyst." Make sure to join him at 4 p.m. in Room 216 of the
Chemistry and Biology Sciences building.
