Today on Campus
- Extend the boundaries of your learning experience by
attending the
International Education Conference. The UA and NAFSA: Association of International
Educators are sponsoring
"Seeking Balance: A Healthy Look at International
Education." Sessions start today and continue through
Saturday.
The sessions deals with aspects of international education from admissions
and immigration to studying abroad and more.

- October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, so the UA Chapter
of Business and Professional Women will be hosting a lunch discussion on
this topic. Law officials will be available at this discussion to
attend
to any concerns you may have. Discussions will be held in the Tucson Room
of the Memorial Student Union fro 12 to 1 p.m.

- Check out the creativity UA students have by listening to Creative
Writing Majors share their works. The
Poetry Center Reading will
begin at 8 p.m. in the auditorium of the Modern Languages building.
- With the weather
changing, you want to make sure your flowers are up-to-date
with the seasons. "Flowers for Fall and Winter
Color"
demonstrations will be held at 9 a.m. in the Extension Garden Center at
4210 N. Campbell Ave.
- Check out
"Fit and Fast Chinese Cooking." You can
learn how to make healthy and delicious meals in just minutes by
attending
this cooking demonstration from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 205 of the Swede
Johnson Building.
