University police arrested two 18-year-old students on drug-related charges Friday near East Speedway Boulevard and North Park Avenue.

Officers reportedly saw Adam Levin, of the 900 block of North Euclid Avenue, and Adam Abramson, of the 800 block of East Fifth Street, walking south across Speedway just west of Park about 1:30 a.m.

According to reports, officers had to quickly brake to avoid hitting the two as they crossed the street.

Officers stopped Levin and Abramson at the intersection of East Speedway and North Park and noticed their eyes were red, watery and bloodshot, police reports stated.

Levin and Abramson reportedly told officers they did not have anything they should know about and agreed to be searched.

According to police reports, officers found a clear plastic baggy containing a "green leafy substance" in Levin's pants pocket.

He told officers, "It's dope, sir," police reports stated.

Officers reportedly found a green metal smoking pipe in Abramson's pants pocket. The pipe had an odor and residue consistent with burnt marijuana, police reports stated.

Levin was cited on charges of marijuana possession and released at the scene.

Abramson was cited on charges of drug paraphernalia possession and released at the scene.

University police arrested a 20-year-old Tucson man for an outstanding warrant and drug charges Saturday during a football game at Arizona Stadium, 525 N. Warren Ave.

A check on Hulderman's identification revealed an outstanding warrant, police reports stated.

Officers searched Hulderman and found a clear plastic baggy containing a green leafy substance, he identified as "weed."

Hulderman was later taken to Pima County Jail.

A 16-year-old Tucson boy was arrested by university police Sunday on drug charges after officers pulled over his 1989 Plymouth Acclaim for having expired tags.

Officers noticed the tags and stopped the car at East Fourth Street and North Tyndall Avenue about 1:26 a.m. They reportedly smelled burnt marijuana in the car and asked both the driver and the boy to get out of the car, police reports stated.

After searching the vehicle officers found a clear plastic baggy containing a "green leafy substance" in the console next to the passenger seat, police reports stated.

The boy reportedly told officers the bag was his and he had smoked "dope earlier" that he bought from "some guy," police reports stated.

The boy was taken to Pima County Juvenile Criminal Court.

An 18-year-old Tucson man was arrested Sunday on trespassing and resisting arrest charges after he reportedly fled police on skateboard outside the Memorial Student Union.

University police responded to a male employee's complaints about skateboarders outside the Student Union, 1303 E. University Blvd.

Daniel Martinez, of the 8800 block of East Bluefield Street, was arrested just after 7 p.m. The employee reportedly warned the group several times before calling police.

Officers saw the group near the Chemical and Biological Sciences building, 1340 E. University Blvd. and the employee identified Martinez and the other four people as the ones he warned, police reports stated.

When officers approached the group Martinez reportedly began to flee on his skateboard despite officers' commands to stop.

Officers caught up with Martinez in the 1300 block of East University Boulevard.

He told officers he was "hot-dogging in front of the Union" and had been warned previously, police reports stated.

Martinez was cited on charges of trespassing, resisting arrest and interfering with the peaceful conduct of an educational institution and released at the scene.

The rest of the group were warned.
