Fifth St. Police cited Dudley Chan, of the 2700 block of North Fair Oaks Avenue, for harassment after a female student told officers Chan had been bothering her since September, police reports stated. The student told officers she has been working for Chan at Power Company, 2914 N. Stone Ave., and that he has been harassing her since she started working there, police reports stated. Chan reportedly went to the hall because he wanted to speak to the student about an incident at work. He told police he had "a lot of personal stress and just wanted to speak to her," police reports stated. The student told officers she had repeatedly asked Chan to stop the unwanted behavior, police reports stated. According to police reports, the student said Chan's behavior included repeatedly touching her rib cage while they were at work. Chan said he sometimes flirts with other employees, police reports stated. Chan was cited and released at the scene. A female employee called university police Friday after receiving a bomb threat on her voice mail at the Nugent Building, 1212 E. University Blvd. The employee told officers she received the message Friday morning at 9:34 when she checked the voice mail, police reports stated. Officers determined the call was recorded at 5 p.m. Thursday, police reports stated. The caller, identified as a man, reportedly referred to the "bureaucratic bullshit" of the university admissions office. "I'm going to come down there with a bomb and blow you up," the man reportedly said. Officers told the employee to notify all department heads in the building to check their respective areas for anything appearing out of the ordinary, police reports stated. Officers are working with the Center for Computing Information and Technology to track the phone call, police reports stated. University police arrested a Tucson man who was found sleeping in a residence hall Monday on drug and trespassing charges. Charles M. Zencius, of a general delivery address, was arrested after a resident assistant found him and another man sleeping in the basement of Manzanita-Mohave Residence Hall, 1000 N. Park Ave., police reports stated. Zencius reportedly told officers he has been in Tucson for three weeks and is homeless. He said he was sleeping in the basement to get out of the cold, police reports stated. According to police reports, officers found a plastic bong with marijuana residue next to the cardboard box Zencius was sleeping on. After searching him officers reportedly found a plastic bag containing a "green leafy substance" they suspected was marijuana. A computer check on Zencius indicated he had been warned before for trespassing on the University of Arizona campus, police reports stated. Zencius was arrested and charged with trespassing and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A female student called university police Saturday after finding her Nishiki Rally 10-speed bicycle missing from a bike rack near Navajo Residence Hall, 1557 E. Sixth St. The student told officers she parked and locked her bike to the rack with a cable lock at 4 p.m. Thursday, police reports stated. She came back at 3 p.m. Saturday and the bike and lock were gone. The bike and lock were valued at $230. Police Beat is compiled from official University of Arizona Police reports.
