Harris underwent a procedure Monday at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale to remove fluid near his gallbladder. "It was brought on by his diet, which included beef, pork, hamburgers, french fries and ice cream - the stuff he likes to eat," Renate Harris said. "He can't eat that stuff anymore." Bad news for Harris, who said that the one thing he does before each game is eat ice cream. The doctors have told him he has to stick to a strict diet and eat chicken that is not fried, or steamed fish. "He doesn't like chicken or fish, but he's going to have to change that," the elder Harris said. Harris, who is averaging 5.3 points and 2.5 rebounds a game, has missed five games and hasn't been able to attend school for the last two weeks while undergoing tests. Harris is down to 188 pounds and needs to regain 15 to 20 pounds to be strong enough to play again, coach Lute Olson said. No return date has been set.
