Two Tucson teen-agers were cited Thursday on charges of disturbing the peaceful conduct of an education institution after university police saw them "hotdogging" outside of Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall, 910 E. Fifth St.

A male student called police at 4:39 p.m. and complained of noisy skateboarders in front of the hall.

Police arrived and spotted three youths skateboarding off the benches and yelling. One skater saw police and ran off, but the other two, both 16, were stopped by officers as they started to leave. A computer check showed both youths had previously been warned by university police for skateboarding on campus.

The two were cited and taken to police headquarters. One boy's mother picked him up, while the other was taken to meet his mother at a local elementary school.

Someone had tried to start the car with "something other than a key," police reports stated.

The value of the damage was unknown.

Someone took a female student's clothes Jan. 19 from the laundry room at La Paz Residence Hall, 602 N. Highland Ave.

A female student reported being involved in a hit-and-run collision Monday night in Lot 3046, at East First Street and North Highland Avenue.

The woman told university police she pulled her 1984 Chevrolet pickup into an open parking space about 4 p.m. and started searching for quarters for the parking meter.

The student told police a man driving a 1988 light blue Toyota pickup struck the right side of her vehicle's rear bumper while attempting to park in an adjacent space.
