Body found in eastside pass

Sheriff's officials received a 911 call shortly after midnight reporting a body found at a look-out area in the pass, on Tucson's far northeast side. There, deputies found the body, which was bound and appeared to have sustained heavy trauma, officials said.

"We suspect foul play was involved," said Deputy James Ogden, a Sheriff's Department spokesman.

The victim is described as a white man between 15- and 25-years old with short brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black, blue and white striped nylon jacket and blue jeans.

Sheriff's deputies are hoping someone with information about the man's identity will call the Sheriff's Department at 741-4900, Ogden said.
