  • Today's featured speaker for the Arizona Heritage-2000 Lecture Series is author and historian Stewart L. Udall. A former congressman, Udall will speak on "The Conquistadors, The Padres, and The Heritage They Left." To join in on the discussion arrive at the Duval Auditorium of the University Medical Center at 7:30 p.m.

  • Panicked about the upcoming bikini season? How can this panicking stop? Lisa King, M.C. of Campus Health, and Jeanne Rust, M.C Nutritionist, will address this topic from 6 to 7:30 tonight. Hear what they have to say at Changing Body Imaging in the Memorial Student Union, Room 202. RSVP, if possible, at 621-3919.

  • Learn more about Arizona's diverse and intriguing military history at Wartime Arizona Lecture Series. Today's lecture is "Mailed Fist and Velvet Glove: Spanish Military Policy in Arizona-Sonora, 1760-1810." The program begins at 7 p.m. at the Arizona Historical Society. Admission for students is $3.

  • Nicholas Hud of the University of California will discuss "Investigations of Cation Binding by DNA Quadruplexes Using NMR Spectroscopy." If you think you can keep up with this lesson, report to Room 201 of the Physics and Atmospheric Sciences building today from 4 to 5.
