A former congressman, Udall will speak on "The Conquistadors, The Padres, and The Heritage They Left." • Learn more about Arizona's diverse and intriguing military history at Wartime Arizona Lecture Series. Today's lecture is "Mailed Fist and Velvet Glove: Spanish Military Policy in Arizona-Sonora, 1760-1810." The program begins at 7 p.m. at the Arizona Historical Society. Admission for students is $3.
