Today on Campus

  • Works by UA ceramic students are on display today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Lionel Rombach Gallery of the UA Museum of Art, on the southeast corner of Park and Speedway. This exhibition features a variety of pedestal, wall and floor pieces including life-size figurative sculptures, small abstract works, sculptural vessels, and mixed media artworks.

  • Increase your knowledge of telemedicine, tele-education and tele-information today by attending the Technology Awareness Conference from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Topics of discussion include technology, clinical aspects, and legal and ethical issues of telemedicine and tele-education, as well as their current uses in Arizona. There is also an opportunity to view the telemedicines facilities at Arizona Health Sciences Center. You can attend this conference by heading to the DuVal Auditorium of the University Medical Center, located at 1501 N. Campbell. This conference is free to all students.

  • How about some Sunny D? You can learn how to produce your very own freshly squeezed glass of juice today by attending "Growing Citrus in Arizona." This demonstration lasts about an hour and begins at 9 a.m. in the Extension Garden Center, located at 4210 N. Campbell Ave.

  • Olga M. Simek discusses "Heat Trace Asymptotics for Domains with Singular Boundaries." Join the lesson today in Room 206 of the Mathematics building at 2 p.m.
