By Jonathan Schmitt Wildcat blew Rehnquist coverageTo the Editor: I was disappointed to read the Wildcat's coverage of Chief Justice William Rehnquist's annual visit to the UA ("Rehnquist avoids protesters at law college," Feb. 13). Rather than focus on the amazing fact that the Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court was teaching a two-week course at the UA, the Wildcat chose to publicize the views of 10-12 protesters. While I do not oppose these individuals' right to protest, I find it incredibly irresponsible that your reporter failed to interview any of the approximately 200 students in the Chief Justice's question & answer session or History of the Supreme Court course. Regardless of one's political views, I, along with the majority of students at the College of Law, count it a privilege to engage in conversation and learning with the head of our Judicial Branch. This event is deserving of publication, but might I suggest that it should be at least objective, if not overwhelmingly positive. If your reporters prefer coverage of protests and scandal, I recommend applying for a White House tabloid. Jonathan Schmitt
