Fault lies with students, not ASUA

To the editor,

I would like to respond to the pathetic student body we have on campus. Our student body doesn't realize that ASUA is important. The main problem is that ASUA doesn't have enough power to make key and important decisions. Who do you think brings you Spring Fling and who do you think fights for the issues that students want?

Another problem is that you guys at the Wildcat always rag on ASUA. No matter what decisions are made, you put them down and that is why no one believes in a student government.

I truly believe that everyone's vote will be put to use in some way or another. This year's elections truly show what kind of a careless and pathetic student body we have. For all of you people who voted I do commend and thank you. For all of you who didn't vote, you just showed everyone what kind of person you are and it shows that you can care less about having a democracy that our soldiers fought so hard to give us. I am pleading that in next year' s election you put your vote to use and show everyone what kind of citizen you are.
