Neethling wins 2 titles at Pac-10's

The Arizona men's swimming team finished fourth at the Pacific 10 Conference Championships this weekend in Long Beach, Calif., led by junior Ryk Neethling's victories in the 500-yard freestyle and 1,650 freestyle.
Neethling defended his title in both events. He also came in second in the 200 free.
Arizona's final total of 441.0 points put the Wildcats behind Southern Cal's 674.0 points. Stanford won the meet for the 17th year in a row, beating out California by eight points, 748.5-740.5.
Other top finishers for UA yesterday were freshman Roland Schoeman in the 100 free (third place), junior Nat Lewis in the 1,650 free (fourth), freshman James Thornton also in the 1,650 free (eighth) and freshman Kris Souther came in seventh in the 200 backstroke.
Arizona will get some breathing time before heading for Indianapolis for the NCAA Championships March 25-27.
