Baseball

Final record: 33-21 overall, 13-11 Pacific 10 Conference (tied for third)

Postseason results: Lost to Minnesota (4-3) and Eastern Illinois (13-4) at the Waco, Tex. sub-regional of the NCAA Tournament

Individual honors: Sophomore shortstop Keoni DeRenne named to the All-Pac-10 team; freshman right fielder Shelley Duncan named to the Collegiate Baseball freshman All-American team; DeRenne, Duncan and freshman pitcher Ben Diggins were invited to try out for the USA Baseball Team, starting today at Hi Corbett Field

Men's Golf

Postseason results: Made the NCAA Championships, but as a team missed the cut after the second round

Individual results: Senior Derek Gillespie finished tied for sixth place at NCAAs (294, 14-over-par), junior Scott Moore tied for 51st place (305, 25-over-par)

Women's Golf

Postseason results: Finished fourth at the NCAA Championships, nine shots behind Duke

Individual results: Junior Jenna Daniels and senior Krissie Register tied for seventh place (224, 11-over-par), sophomore Christina Monteiro tied for 21st place (228, 15-over-par), junior Jill Gomric tied for 35th place (231, 18-over-par) and freshman Cristina Baena finished in 47th place (233, 20-over-par)

Individual honors: Daniels was named to the All-Far West District and All-Pac-10 first teams, Register and Gomric were named to the All-Far West District second team and Baena was named to the All-Far West District honorable mention team

Softball

Final record: 53-16 overall, 19-9 Pac-10 (second place)

Postseason results: Eliminated from the College World Series quarterfinals by DePaul (1-0)

Individual honors: Three sophomores, left fielder Lauren Bauer, center fielder Nicole Giordano and pitcher Becky Lemke, were named All-Americans

Men's Track and Field

Postseason results: Finished 14th at the NCAA Championships

Individual honors: The following athletes were named All-Americans: Abdi Abdirahman (5,000 and 10,000 meters), Jeff Dutoit (pole vault), Esko Mikkola (javelin) and Patrick Nduwimana (800m)

Women's Track and Field

Postseason results: Finished 66th at the NCAA Championships

Individual honors: The following athletes were named All-Americans: Tara Chaplin (10,000m), Maureen Griffin (hammer), Carolyn Jackson (400m)
